The built-in PHP vsprintf() function outputs a formatted string.


Following below is the syntax to use this function -

string vsprintf ( string $format , array $args )

Parameter Details

It is used to specify string and how to format the variable in it



It is used to specify an array with argument to be inserted

Return Value

This PHP function returns an array value as a formatted string.


Try out the example below -

   print vsprintf("%04d-%02d-%02d", explode('-', '1993-04-05'));
