The PHP strstr() function searches for the first occurrence of a string inside another string.
Note: This PHP function is case-sensitive and binary-safe.

Following below is the syntax to use this function -
strstr(string,search,before_search)
Parameter Details
Sr.No | Parameters & Description |
---|---|
1 | string It specifies the string to search |
2 | search It specifies the string to search |
3 | before_search A boolean value whose default is "false". If set to "true", it returns the part of the string before the first occurrence of the search parameter. |
Return Value
This built-in function returns the rest of the string or else false if the string is not found.
