Hello folks! welcome back to a new edition of our tutorial on PHP. In this tutorial guide, we are going to be studying about the PHP stripos() Function.

The built-in PHP stripos() function is used to find the position of the first occurrence of a string inside another string.

Note: This function is case-insensitive and binary-safe function.

syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

stripos(string,find,start)

Return Value

This built-in function in PHP returns the position of the first occurrence of a string inside another string on success, or else it shows a message as string is not found.
