The convert_cry_string() function is used for converting from one cyrillic character set to another.


Following below is the syntax to use this function -

string convert_cyr_string ( string $str , string $from , string $to )

The source Cyrillic character set, as a single character.



The target Cyrillic character set, as a single character.

Return Value

This function returns the converted string.


Try out the example below -

   $str = "web design tutorialz ";
   echo convert_cyr_string($str,'w','a'); 


When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -

web design tutorialz
