Hello folks! welcome back to a new edition of our tutorial on PHP. In this tutorial guide, we are going to be studying about the PHP socket_set_blocking() Function.

The PHP socket_set_blocking() function is an alias of the built-in stream_set_blocking() function, it blocks or unblocks options for stream mode.

Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

bool stream_set_blocking ( resource $stream , int $mode )


Parameter Details

It contains stream information.

mode

If mode is 0, the given stream will be switched to non-blocking mode, and if 1, it will be switched to blocking mode.


Return Value

This built-in PHP function returns TRUE on success and FALSE on failure.
