The PHP odbc_connect() function is used to connect to a data source.

Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

resource odbc_connect ( string $dsn , string $user , string $password [, int $cursor_type ] )


Parameter Details

it sets the type of cursor to be used for ODBC connections


Return Value

This built-in PHP function returns an odbc connection on success or FALSE on failure.
