The built-in PHP readlink() function returns the target of a symbolic link.

Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

string readlink ( string $path )


The readlink() function does the same as the C readlink() function.

Return Value

It returns the target of a symbolic link on success, or false on failure.

Example

Try out the below example -

   echo readlink("/PhpProject/testlink");
?>
