Syntax
Following below is the syntax to use this function -
int pclose ( resource $handle )
READ: PHP | link() Function
This built-in function can close a file pointer to the pipe opened by popen() function.
Return Value
This function returns the termination status of the running process. In case of an error, -1 is returned.

Try out the below example -
<?php $file = popen("/bin/ls", "r"); pclose($file); ?>
