READ: PHP | is_dir() Function
This function can tell whether the filename is executable.
Return Value
This built-in PHP function returns true if the filename is executable, or false otherwise.
Example
Try out the below example -
<?php $file = "/PhpProject/setup.exe"; if(is_executable($file)) { echo $file." is executable"; } else { echo $file." is not executable"; } ?>
Output
When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -
/PhpProject/setup.exe is executable
