The PHP diskfreespace() function returns the free space of a specified directory in bytes. This built-in function is an alias of the disk_free_space() function.


Following below is the syntax to use this function -


Return Value

This built-in function returns the free space of a specified directory in bytes.


Try out the below example -

   echo diskfreespace("C:");
   echo "\n";
   echo diskfreespace("E:");


When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -
