Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

float disk_free_space ( string $directory )


Given a string holding a directory, the disk_free_space() function can return the number of bytes that are available on the corresponding file system or disk partition.

Return Value

This built-in PHP function returns the free space of a specified directory in bytes.

Example

Try out the below example -

   echo "\n";

Output

When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -
