PHP jdtojulian() Function


Hello folks! welcome back to a new edition of our tutorial on PHP. In this tutorial guide, we are going to be studying about the PHP jdtojulian() Function.

The jdtojulian() converts a Julian Day Count to a string that contains the Julian Calendar Date in the format of "month/day/year".

Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

jdtojulian ( $juliandaycount );


Parameter Details

juliandaycount(Required)

A julian day number as integer


Return Value

This built-in function returns the Julian date as a string in format of "month/day/year".

Example

Try out the below example -

   $jd = juliantojd(10,16,2015);
   echo($jd . "\n");
   
   $julian = jdtojulian($jd);
   echo($julian);
?> 

Output

When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -

2457325
10/16/2015
