Hello dear readers! welcome back to another edition of our tutorial on PHP. In this tutorial guide, we are going to be discussing about the get_class_methods() Function in PHP.

The PHP get_class_methods() function gets the class methods names. This returns an array of methods names defined for the class specified by class_name. If there is an error, then it returns NULL.

Syntax

Following below is the syntax to use this function -

get_method ( $class_name );

Return Value

This built-in function returns an array of method names defined for the class specified by class_name. If there is any error, then it returns NULL.

Try out the below example -

         return(true);
      }
      
      function myfunc2() {
         return(true);
      }
   }
	
   $method = get_method('HelloWorld');
   $method = get_method(new HelloWorld());
   
   foreach ($method as $method_name) {
      echo "$method_name \n";
   }
?> 

Output

When the above code is executed, it will produce the following result -

HelloWorld
myfunc1
myfunc2
