Python Tuple max() Method with example

The Python Tuple max() method returns the elements from the tuple with the maximum value.

Syntax

The following below is the syntax for Python Tuple max() method -

max( tuple )

Parameter Details

  • tuple - Tuple from which max value elements is to be returned.

Return Value

This method returns the elements from tuple with maximum value.

Example

The following below is a simple example -

#!/usr/bin/python

tuple1, tuple2 = (123, 'xyz', 'paul', 'abc'), (456, 700, 200)
print "Max value element : ", max(tuple1)
print "Max value element : ", max(tuple2)

Output
Below is the output of the above example -

Max value element :  paul
Max value element :  700
