WordPress Media Library - How to use it to Insert Media Files



Hello guys! Welcome back to another section of my tutorial on WordPress. In this tutorial post, I will be giving you guys the step by step guide on how to Insert Media Files into a WordPress Posts and Pages. 

Media Files can be inserted into your Posts  and Pages from libraries, local storage or from URLs.

Following are the simple steps to Insert Media Files into a WordPress Posts or Pages -

Step 1 - Click on Posts → Add New button.



Step 2 - Click on Add Media button.


Step 3 - You can select the files from the Media Library tab as shown below.


RECOMMENDED: Html-Images 

Information about the selected media file will be displayed on the right of the Media screen under the Attachment Details. Click on the Insert Post button, the image will be inserted into the post. In Attachment Details section, you will find alot of useful information about the images such as URL, Title, Caption, Alt Text and Description.

You can also insert an image directly from your system by clicking on Upload Files tab. Click on Insert into Post button.
