WordPress Media Library - How to use it to Insert Media Files



Hello dear readers! Welcome back to another edition of our tutorial on WordPress. In this tutorial post, we will be giving you guys the step by step guide on how to Insert Media Files into a WordPress Posts and Pages.

Media files can simply be inserted into your Posts or Pages from the libraries, local storage or URLs.

The following are the simple steps on how to Insert Media Files into a WordPress Posts or Pages -

Step 1 - Click on the Posts → Add New button.



Step 2 - Click on the Add Media button.


Step 3 - You can now select the files from the Media Library tab as shown below.


RECOMMENDED: Html-Images

Details about the picked media file will be displayed on the right of the Media Screen below Attachment Details. Now click on Insert Post button, the image will be inserted into your post. In the Attachment Details section, you will find alot of vital information about the images such as ths URL, Title, Caption, Alt Text and Description.

You can also insert an image right from your system by clicking on Upload Files tab. Click on Insert into Post button.
