Python String Capitalize() Method

Python String capitalize() method returns a copy of the string with only it's first character capitalized.


The following below is the syntax for the Python String capitalize() method -

It returns a string.


The following below is a simple example -


str = "this is string example....wow!!!";
print "str.capitalize() : ", str.capitalize()

Below is the output of the above example -

str.capitalize() :  This is string example....wow!!!
