How to View Plugins in WordPress Admin Dashboard

The View Plugins option helps you to enable and disable WordPress Plugins. This adds unique features to existing site. Plugins enlarges the functionality of WordPress.

The following below are the simple steps on how to View Plugins in WordPress -

Step 1 - Click on the Plugins → Installed Plugins in the WordPress Admin panel.



Step 2 - The list of existing plugins on your site will then get displayed as shown below.


A table of Plugins and descriptions is displayed. Names of the plugins are defined in the Plugin column and a short description about the plugin is defined under Description column.

Toolbar

Following functions appear as the plugin toolbar options on the page -

  • Active - It shows the active plugins on the site.
  • Inactive - This displays the inactive plugins on the site.
  • Update Available - It shows, if a new version is available or asks to update now.
