Learn JQuery UI Interactions - Complete List of Interactions

Hello guys! Welcome to a new section of my tutorial on JQuery. In this tutorial post am going to be dropping a list of all the jQuery interactions and as well as their descriptions.

Interactions could be added basic mouse based behaviours to any element. Using interactions, we can create sortable lists, elements that are resizeable, drag and drop behaviours. JQuery UI interactions also make great building blocks  for more complex widget and applications.

Below are the list of JQuery UI interactions and as well their descriptions.

Sr.No.Interactions & Description
1Drag able
Enable drag able functionality on any DOM element.
2Drop able
Enable any DOM element to be drop able.
3Resize able
Enable any DOM element to be resize-able.
4Select able
Enable a DOM element (or group of elements) to be selectable.
5Sort able
Enable a group of DOM elements to be sortable.

In my next tutorial, i will be discussing about the above listed interactions in details with the help of few examples.
