How to Edit a Post in WordPress



Hello guys! Welcome to another section of my tutorial on WordPress. In this tutorial post, i will be giving you steps on how to Edit Post that has already been created. 

Following are the simple steps to Edit Posts in WordPress.

Step 1 - Click on Posts → All Posts as shown in the screenshot below.


Step 2 - You can view Post 1 which was created in my previous tutorial. When  the cursor hovers on the Post, few options will be displayed below the Post name. There are two ways which can be used to edit the Post i.e. Edit and Quick Edit.


Edit - Click on Edit option in Post 1 as shown in the below screenshot.


You can edit or even change the content or title of the post based on your needs, and then click on the Update button as shown below.


RECOMMENDED: Html Formatting 

Quick Edit - Click on Quick Edit option in Post 1 as shown in below screenshot.


Here you can edit the Title, Slug and the date of the posts and you also select the categories for your posts as shown in below. Finally click the Update button to confirm post edits.
