Html Attributes


Hello dear readers! welcome back to another section of my tutorial on Html. In this tutorial guide, i will be going through the various Html attributes that is available in Html.

In the previous tutorials that  we have had, we have seen few Html tags and their usages like heading tags <h1>, <h2>, paragraph tag <p> and other tags, we used them so far in their simplest form, but most of these Html tags have attributes, which are additional information added to them.

Html Elements


Hello dear readers! welcome back to another section of my tutorial on Html. In this tutorial guide, we are going to be discussing about Html elements. In my previous tutorials, we discussed about Html tags, in this tutorial you gonna find out the actual difference between Html tag and Html element.

Html element is always defined by a starting tag. If the element do contains other content inside of it, then it will end with a closing tag, where the element name is then proceded by a forward slash as shown below.

HTML Basic Tags 2


Hello dear readers! welcome back to another section of my tutorial on Html. In this tutorial post, am going to be continuing from where i stoped in the previous tutorial. In the last tutorial post i talked about HTML basic tags and today am gonna round up with that topic.

Horizontal Lines

Horizontal Lines are used to break-up sections of a document. The <hr> tag creates a nice straight line from the current position in the document to the right margin and breaks the line accordingly. In the example below, we gave a line between two paragraphs

The DOCTYPE Declaration


Hello dear readers! welcome back to another section of my tutorial on Html. In my previous tutorial, i talked about the basic structure of Html. Now we are going to be discussing about a little bit of the <!DOCTYPE> declaration.

The Html <!DOCTYPE> declaration is used by the web browser to understand the version of the Html used in the document. Their are various versions of Html available but that is not our discussion in this tutorial guide. The current version of Html is version 5 and it uses the following declaration

Note - Their are also other types of declarations which you can use along with Html. The declaration type used on a Html document will depend upon the version of Html used. We will see more details while studying the <!doctype> tag along with other tags. Bye for now

Html Tags


Hello readers! welcome back to another section of my tutorial on Html. In this tutorial guide am going to be discussing about Html tags. As told in my previous post Html is a makeup language that makes use of tags. These tags are enclosed in angle braces eg <Tag Name>. Most of the tags in Html has a corresponding closing tags except for few tags that does not.

For example the <html> tag has a corresponding closing tag </html> and the <head> tag also has a corresponding closing tag as well </head>. Am gonna give a brief explanation of the basic html tags in this tutorial. Html Tags will be discussed in details in another of my tutorial.
